Google has become so synonymous with online searching, that most people refer to looking something up as to “Googling it”, whether they are actually use Google or not. One doesn’t really hear “let me Bing this” or “I’m going to Yahoo this”, even though Bing and Yahoo! are two of the top search engines right under Google. But they are not the only ones out there, and its worth exploring some alternative search engines that really stand out – such as one that is powered exclusively by renewable energy, and another that donates a certain amount of money to charity for each search that is done.
